Producer responsibility at the beginning of the supply chain
The protection of our environment and the careful use of limited natural resources are part of our active corporate policy. The recovery of valuable raw materials and minimization of waste products as part of a sustainable recycling concept is also an important part of responsible corporate management. 
As a long-standing manufacturer in the German textile industry and an experienced processor of both natural and synthetic fibers, we have been using only polyester fibers (PET) from regranulated PET drinking bottles for the production of our Hobbybest wadding products and our customers' brands for more than 30 years. The production of regranulates from post-consumer waste and the extraction of fibers from it saves up to 75% CO2 compared to the production of fibers from virgin PET. 
At the end of its life cycle, the polyester fiber can also be fully recycled. By consistently returning recyclable raw materials to a permanent circular economy and using natural and biodegradable raw materials, we make an active contribution to environmental protection.
